Essential Maintenance Works. Work is currently being undertaken to refurbish the roof and the facade of Imperial War Museum London. Completion of this work is due in November 2008. Scaffolding has been constructed to facilitate this work. The Museum remains open to the public as usual.Temporary closure of the Victoria Cross and George Cross Gallery. Please note that this gallery will be closed between 10.00am and 2.00pm on 11 and 12 September.
Exhibitions
This permanent exhibition uses historical material to tell the story of the Nazis' persecution of the Jews and other groups before and during the Second World War. Photographs, documents, newspapers, artefacts, posters and film offer stark evidence of persecution and slaughter, collaboration and resistance. |
