The IWM Fellowship in Holocaust Education is the most ambitious programme of Continuous Professional Development in the United Kingdom. The Fellowship is a prestigious, free of charge, expenses-paid programme of workshops and lectures held in London, Jerusalem and at sites of the Holocaust in Lithuania and Poland. The Museum provides all flights, accommodation, meals, high-quality education resources and access to the world’s leading academics and educationalists in this field.
The Imperial War Museum is creating a national network of highly skilled and motivated educators to serve as leaders of Holocaust education throughout the United Kingdom and beyond. We are dedicated to developing an ongoing partnership between the Imperial War Museum and its Fellows. In return for the Museum's investment in participants' professional development, all Fellows initiate high-profile educational projects; together these projects significantly further Holocaust education in the United Kingdom. The four-stage programme: Stage 1: Summer holiday 2008, Sunday 27 July - Friday 1 August 2008 All expenses paid, six day summer institute at the Imperial War Museum London.
