The Imperial War Museum’s Collections encompass a wealth of objects, works of art, documents, film, photographs, books, maps and sound recordings. In addition to material on display, access is also provided to items held in reference and storage areas.

Archives
The Department of Art, the Department of Documents, the Department of Exhibits and Firearms, the Department of Printed Books and the Sound Archive are located in the Main Building on Lambeth Road.
