Key Stage 1

The Museum provides a place where children can learn about ordinary people's lives and lifestyles and look at a wide range of sources (such as artefacts, paintings, photographs, documents, sound recordings and film) that show how the past can be represented.

Key Stage 2

The Museum is particularly good for children following the option Britain Since 1930. There is plenty of scope to learn about the impact of the Second World War on ordinary people's lives and to look at the various social and technological changes that took place throughout the 20th century.

Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

The Museum is a rich and varied resource for a variety of different subject areas at secondary level especially History, Art and Citizenship.

Holocaust Education

The Holocaust Exhibition is a permanent national resource for teachers and students of History, Religious Education, English, PSHE, Music, Art and Citizenship.

AS/A2
