An online educational site developed by the BBC in association with  the Imperial War Museum.  An excellent resource which can be used alone, or in conjunction with the BBC Zig Zag programme. Photographs, letters, an insight into how people lived in the 1940s, plus a Rationing Challenge game! Parents and teachers guidance notes are included.

History Channel
The History Channel provides information on its current TV programmes - have a look at the excellent education site which focuses on aspects of British, European and world-wide history. Includes GCSE revision quiz.
