The Imperial War Museum is very grateful to its trust and foundation supporters.  These partnerships provide funding for core activities as well as innovative and exciting projects. 

Past support has enabled us to:

  • Improve and expand our visitor spaces
  • Care for our vast collections
  • Acquire new objects
  • Deliver inspiring learning opportunities

Current opportunities for support include: 

Capital projects
Your History: encompassing cataloguing and digitisation of records and artefacts for inclusion in the new Discovery Gallery. Installation of the Discovery Gallery with touch screens offering access to the Museum's digitised collections and family history.

Collections
Ongoing documentation and selective digitisation of our collections

Conservation:
Selective conservation of First and Second World War collections:

  • conservation of leather based items ranging from water bottles to plane seats
  • flag conservation

Education
Continued development of schools’ resource material incorporating digital content
