Access
All exhibitions (except for the first floor of the 1940s House and the Anderson shelter), galleries and the Education Centre are fully accessible by wheelchair. An infrared audio enhancement facility operates in the Cinema. Sound recording handsets in the galleries can be used in conjunction with a T-switch. A range of simplified worksheets are also available. There are audio guides for The Holocaust Exhibition for visually impaired students, visually impaired adults and for students with learning difficulties. Special Needs sessions
Handling sessions on either the First or Second World War can be arranged for pupils with learning and/or physical difficulties. Sessions can be tailored to the needs of individual groups. Many of the activities listed in the education programme can be adapted for special needs.
