We are committed to ensuring the Imperial War Museum is accessible to all visitors, regardless of disability, and hope the facilities we have introduced enhance your visit.

Assistance
All our Front of House staff receive training in disability awareness.  If you have any queries, or need any assistance, please ask.  They will be more than happy to help you.

Family activities
The Museum has a wide range of drop-in activities for families at weekends and school holidays, which are designed to suit a range of abilities. Please see What's On for our programme of events or telephone 020 7416 5000 for further information.

Schools
Our schools education service can be tailored to meet particular needs. Please telephone 020 7416 5441 for further details.

Café
The café is located on the ground floor and is fully accessible. Staff will be happy to assist you.

In an emergency
The Museum has 16 fire refuge points with two-way communication. Staff are fully trained in emergency evacuation procedures and will be able to assist you to one of these refuge points in the case of an emergency.
