Welcome to the Education Department at Imperial War Museum London. Our mission is to develop educational provision for the widest possible audience.

The Museum has extensive historical displays on the two world wars and post-war conflicts.  These exhibitions chart chronologically, through artefacts, documents, film, photographs and oral accounts the main events. 

We aim to interpret the collections imaginatively to all levels of interest and provide the fullest range of learning opportunities, addressing contemporary and historical issues, meeting the needs of the national curriculum and providing life-long learning opportunities.

SCHOOL BOOKINGS: During the summer holiday the schools booking line will be open reduced hours. We will be open to take bookings from 9:00-13:00 Monday to Friday on 020 7416 5313. Please ensure you call this direct line in order to make school bookings. Thank you.
