The Holocaust Exhibition is a rich learning resource for students in Years 9-13. We currently receive visits from groups studying the Holocaust in a wide range of subject areas including History, Citizenship, Religious Studies, English, Philosophy, Geography and Science.
Sixth form groups may choose to visit the Holocaust Exhibition without the orientation and feedback sessions, but must still book their visit in advance. Sixth form groups are, however, strongly encouraged to book the orientation and feedback sessions which can be adapted for their particular learning needs, and must do so if they wish to use the audio tours.
Special activities for sixth form groups are also available.
If you do book the sessions, you should allow two and a half hours for your visit to the Holocaust Exhibition. This will include an orientation session to help prepare and focus your students, a visit to the galleries – using one of a range of audio tours that are focused on specific learning needs – and a feedback session to help your students reflect on what they have learned.
