The Imperial War Museum is a charity. We receive a grant from the Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS). However, the grant we receive covers less than 40% of our operating costs. In order to enable Museum to extend and develop its investment in access, education, community outreach, research, acquisitions and conservation we must generate significant additional income. This is achieved through the Museum’s shops, entrance charge for special exhibitions and importantly, raising money from the private sector through sponsorships, grants and individual donations. Even the smallest donation makes a difference.
There are a number of methods that you could use to donate to the work of the Imperial War Museum, including contacting the Development Department for more information or making a donation online or in person.
